The programme has helped me immensely in the all round development of the school. The training has also enabled me to shape myself better as a principal. It has helped me in multiple ways in enhancing my performance in school. I have been able to establish better relations with the managing committee, students and the teaching and non teaching staff and the society. It has helped me a lot and i'm looking forward to more of such programmes in the near future.

Through NCSL's capacity building program, I as the Principal of the school, have found myself more equipped with knowledge and more developed communication skills to implement new initiatives as part of the school development plan for this academic year. New ways of motivating teachers as well as students to achieve excellence in academic activities along with extra curicular activities has been a great learning outcome from the NCSL program that i have attended. Special attention to students needs, empowering them to express their knowledge, understanding and increasing their communication with the teachers has been some of the areas that I have focused on after attending the program. As we live in a diverse culture and as a state government run school where all students belong from BPL Families catering to their emotional and family related problems influencing their motivation to study forward, has been important for us as principal and teaching staff. And through this program, leading the teachers in the forefront to address these needs and expectations of students has been very helpful, and has built me into a stronger person to lead my staff in this initiative to provide better education to the students. As a leader, I have started initiative for building school infrastructure as well as provide student accessibility to more developed facilities in labs and classes.

NCSL Capacity Building Programme has helped me in acquiring various leadership qualities required for being an effective principal. I have moved from being an administrator, manager to leader and then being a self-reflective practitioner, meta cognitive thinker and a self-aware individual during the course of my journey as a school leader. As a principal, I have been able to lead my team and create congenial conditions in the school for student learning. These are in terms of creating the school climate, a culture of learning, mobilizing resources and establishing good relationships with community and education officers. This programme has inspired me in promoting building capacity of teachers, ensuring safe environment for children to learn, encouraging innovations and personally engaging in innovations.

The NCSL training has helped me to understand the need for developing self, lead innovations in school, connecting community etc. I could build the teams in the schools and could lead the teams successfully. community involvement and connecting Institution with community building up teams to support the school. I could successfully transform my school in one of the leading school in the state in all aspects of education. NCSL school leadership programme has helped me to work systematically and also helped me in expanding my vision.

I acted as coordinator for School leadership programmes in Andhra for 3 years from 2018 to 2020 and discovered lot of success stories from school leaders who have undergone any form of orientation from NCSLNIEPA. Especially one month certificate course was found much useful and helped in total transformation of the school leader and the institution as well.

Various activities based on leadership capacity building guided me to handle problems in school. I think I learnt skills to overcome child ego inside me. I learnt skills to keep my teaching staffs together as a team and others as well.After this workshop and course, I could be able to create a better environment inside classrooms with the help of my teachers . "
