Through NCSL's capacity building program, I as the Principal of the school, have found myself more equipped with knowledge and more developed communication skills to implement new initiatives as part of the school development plan for this academic year. New ways of motivating teachers as well as students to achieve excellence in academic activities along with extra curicular activities has been a great learning outcome from the NCSL program that i have attended. Special attention to students needs, empowering them to express their knowledge, understanding and increasing their communication with the teachers has been some of the areas that I have focused on after attending the program. As we live in a diverse culture and as a state government run school where all students belong from BPL Families catering to their emotional and family related problems influencing their motivation to study forward, has been important for us as principal and teaching staff. And through this program, leading the teachers in the forefront to address these needs and expectations of students has been very helpful, and has built me into a stronger person to lead my staff in this initiative to provide better education to the students. As a leader, I have started initiative for building school infrastructure as well as provide student accessibility to more developed facilities in labs and classes.
