Dr. Tripti Singh is Assistant Professor in National Centre for School Leadership, NIEPA. Dr. Singh has successfully completed her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, focusing on variables of happiness and wellbeing of school children from Central University of Gujarat. A silver medalist in B.Ed. and M.Ed. at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, she is five times NET, GSET and CTET qualified. She is an awardee of the ICSSR Doctoral fellowship in 2023. Dr Singh’s doctoral research investigated happiness and wellbeing as success determinants in the overall performance of school students studying in CBSE schools of Delhi, factored across gender, stream of study, type of school and type of family respectively.
Before joining NIEPA, she worked as Research Assistant with two colleges of Delhi University and National Commission for Women (NCW). Dr. Singh also worked as a Project Fellow in the Department of Elementary Education (DEE, NCERT). As a passionate teacher, she contributed as TGT- Social Science for a period of three and a half years in Delhi.
Dr. Singh has been actively engaged in conducting various workshops and conferences organized by the Department of Education, Central University of Gujarat and has presented papers in various national, international conferences and seminars. Apart from published papers, her research interests cover a wide range of themes such as Educational Psychology, Teacher Education, Curriculum Development, School Education and Elementary Education. She has been an active volunteer and participant in all the curricular and co-curricular activities during her school and higher education. She was awarded the ‘Best Students award’ and ‘Active teachers award’ during her journey as an avid learner. She is involved with NCSL committed to work for the ‘happiness and wellbeing’ of school leaders and students. Further, she is engaged at the Centre across verticals and co-ordinates School Leadership Academies in Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand and Tripura.
