JOURNEY OF SCHOOL LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Rajasthan School Leadership Academy (RSLA) was established in State Institute of Educational Management and Training (SIEMAT) in 2016. The RSLA is the coordinating agency for school development programmes in the State to enhance capacities of the functionaries working in the public education system towards educational planning, research, leadership and management. RSLA aspires to be a “Centre of Excellence” contributing towards achievement of the State’s education goals through the primary lever of Education Leadership and Management. The focus areas of RSLA are: Capacity Building, Research and Leadership Training. RSLA maintains a database of School Resource Groups (SRGs) and school heads who have participated in the Capacity Building Programme on School Leadership Development. The academy focuses on developing modules to assess the effectiveness of leadership training, alongside offering training in educational planning and management. Additionally, it provides a one-month certification course for secondary school heads, evaluating them based on a test measuring their knowledge, skills and attitudes. RSLA also conducts research methodology programmes for academic leaders, emphasizing capacity building, research, advisory services, communication and engagement as its main motto.
