JOURNEY OF SCHOOL LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

School Leadership Academy (SLA) was inaugurated at Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training (JCERT), Jharkhand in 2022. JCERT has been identified as SLA (State nodal agency) and District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) has been identified as SLA (District nodal agency). Since its inception, SLA Jharkhand has been actively engaged in a range of initiatives, including organizing school leadership orientation workshops, conducting training programs for headmasters and offering leadership orientation programs for headmasters of secondary schools. Additionally, a training module for SMC members has also been prepared. The school leadership academy documents the work of school leaders, prepares videography of schools and share them with masses through NCSL portal and on SLA YouTube channel, collects best practices in the form of case studies from various school leaders, prepares training modules related to school leadership with specific context of the state, organises capacity building programme/webinars/seminars/special lecture series to address the recent issues of school leadership and also it uploads a linkage between NCSL, NIEPA and the school leaders of Jharkhand state.
