Most Important Issues

(A) Character Development- (Growing plants / School Environment/ Maintenance of school
premises by students: Before my joining in the School (01-08-2016) the school premises was
dirty, no maintenance of growing plants, culture children were used to take Mid-Day Meal
(MDM) as per their convenience and used throw the left-over Meal where they usually sit.

- Solution: At first I repaired the dinning hall and made Bojana Slokam (Mantramu)
mandatory before taking meal. A teacher and child cabinet given this responsiblility for the
time table of having MDM.

- This will also look after other issues like
whether children are washing before and
after meal and keeping their soaps and
other things properly or not. Initially it
comes as imposition but after wards it
becomes their habit.

- School Garden and its maintainence- previously it was not maintained properly

- Solution: The school‘s green area/planted area has been divided into 5 parts and their
responsibility of maintaining those greener areas given to classes VI, VII, VIII, IX and X class
students and their respective class teachers. By growing plants, it will prevent the pollution
coming from granite industries.

- More than 300 plants are in school premises. Plants were adopted by childrens and tagged these
plants with their details like- Name of the student, Plant, scientific name and a table i.e.
Formative Assessment for the class of I, II, III, IV, Marks allotted to these tests are Total 10
Marksunder science project, for taking care, watering the plants. These marks will be allotted by
Science Teacher by observing their plants, growth, caring etc., to promote HARITHA HARAM.

Students at their Respective Plants Children were really happy after doing this work,
