                                                          Abstracts

                           The children enrolled in the  KGBV are  mostly  girl children  who are orphans, semi-
                           orphans,  children  from  divided  families  etc.  School  conducts  yoga,  karate,  dance,
                           scouts  and  guides  etc.  For  absenteeism,  concentrated  on  teaching  learning
                           responsibilities  by  understanding  textbooks,  teaching  steps,  lesson  plans,  CCE
                           Evaluation and also implementation especially improving specific areas like students
                           response  and  queries  asking,  written  works,  projects,  slip  test,  lab  activities,
                           participating  in  contemporary  issues.  The  school  follows  the  Inductive  method
                           (LSRW),  using  flash  cards,  conducting  club  activities,  and  regular  assessments  for
                           better  student  learning  outcomes.  The  school  also  conducts  meetings  for  creating
                           awareness  among  children  about  physical  and  sexual  harassment  from  staff  and
                           society.



                                           Socio-Cultural Context of the School


               Kasturiba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayam and Residential Junior College, Dilawarpur Mandal
               established in 2008 with an objective of enrolling dropouts and empovering of girl child from

               deprived group of society. This comes under a Scheme. Especially these schools are for drop out
               children.  This scheme is launched by the Government of India in August 2004 to ensure the

               access and quality of education for girls being implemented in educationally backward blocks of

               the country where the female rural literacy is below than National average and gender gap in
               literacy is above national average.

               These schools provides for a minimum reservation of  75% of seats for belonging to SC, ST,

               OBC/Minority  and  remaining  25%  is  accorded  to  girls  from  below  poverty  line  families.
               Orphans, Semi Orphans, Child Labours, divided family children also eligible for admission.

               90%  girls  are  Hindus.  Some  girls  come  from  Tandas,  they  have  different  culture.


                Major Language/Mother tongue is Telugu some students mother language is Hindi, Marati who
                are living in tanda places.

                Ours is a newly formed District October 2016 and my school located 13 Kms from the District

                Headquarters.
                Our School is located at Dilawarpur Mandal in Nirmal District in Telangana State.
