Abstract
The school head and his team has made extensive efforts to empower girls and encourage them to
pursue education beyond secondary grade; holds guidance and counseling sessions for girls and
their mothers every Saturday, as a result all girls of the last academic session are pursuing senior
secondary education. They conduct continuous dialogue on demerits of child marriage and
convince parents to build careers of their girls. The school has created effective teams of teachers
for peer learning – teachers teach classes other than their own in absence of a subject teacher and
act as a team with a common vision and mission. They prepare annual academic calendar with the
clear aim of achieving academic goals, so that teaching-learning processes are based on concrete
learning outcomes. The school believes in developing second line leaders – created detailed
teacher profiles with assessment of individual strengths and allotted tasks accordingly.
