School Social                 Care to Share programmes by students

                                              and National Association for the Blind.


                                             The school’s unique association with this NGO is our most powerful tool in
               Young Environmentalists –
               NGO                            environmental stewardship, Eco-friendly activities, clean-up of Powai lake
                                             Contributing to nature conservation, increasing curricular opportunities for students to
                                              gain environmental awareness.
                                             23 activities – Best out of waste, fruit party, nature field trip, making of cloth bags,
                                              making brooms from available resources in nature, to name a few.
                                             For the last three years, school has produced crude compost from dry waste and this
               School’s Nature Club           compost is utilized as manure for trees in the school campus.
                                             This year, school has been invited by State Government to pioneer Harit Sena “Green
                                              Army” aimed at tree plantation by students.
                                             Nature Club has won many accolades for the school through exemplary projects and
                                              have secure the first prize at the Ward level consequently for the last 6 years.


               Terry Fox 2017                Students and teachers participated in the Run aimed at cancer awareness and also
                                              raised funds towards the treatment of cancer patients.

               Last year, the school had introduced ‘Ek Coin Ek Value’ scheme wherein the students are
               encouraged to ‘earn’ money for every positive virtue displayed by them towards their
               friends, classmates, family, teachers and the community. Students’ collection with
               Management’s support the total amount of Rs. 5 Lakh was donated to ‘Bharat Ke Veer’, as
               a humble contribution to India’s Armed Forces.
