Abstract
The transformations in this school took place through the undaunting spirit of the school head.
Determined to transform his school, the school head motivated teachers, worked towards
increasing attendance of students, revived forums of parent teacher meetings, strengthened
principal-teacher and teacher-student bonds. He convinced state Bal Bhawan to open a centre
„Kilkari‟ in the school. This centre helped students to learn different activities related to art-craft,
sports etc. In 2017, the school was selected as the Best Bal Kendra in Bihar. This centre helped
students to make their presence felt at the national level. The school was also selected as the Best
School in Barauni block by the education department. Another initiative was starting the Dikshant
Samroh to felicitate students who completed class 8 successfully.
