                                                         Introduction

                         Shree Samarth Secondary &Higher Secondary School is a renowned

                  school in the education field of Vidharbha in Maharashtra situated at Amravati.

                  We have a strength of near about 1700 students learning from std. V to XII. Our


                  school is run by Shri. Samarth Education Society. The society is established on
                          th
                  the  16   of  July  1934.  Till  the  graph  of  school  is  increasing  day  by  day  in  all

                  academic and non-academic levels. In this span of 85 years progress of our school
                  has become a role model for government-aided schools in nearby areas. Initially,


                  we started two rooms school on a rental basis. We now feel to have a large three-
                  story building. In the heart of the city in premium and easily approachable area of


                  city  fulfilling  all  infrastructural  and  basic  needs  that  any  school  required.

                  Curricular,  co-curricular  and  extracurricular  as  well  as  intellectual  level.  I  am

                  trying my level best along with my teaching and non-teaching supporting staff for

                  the betterment and improvement of our students on all mental, social as well as

                  cultural level to make every student as a responsible civilian of India.

                         Up to the year, 2012 admissions in our school in class 5  was on the basis of

                  the merit list. The ground of merit list was the marks securely by students in the

                  5   STD  annual  examination.  But  from  2012  Maharashtra  Gov.  started  grade

                  system instead of marks system from STD. I to std. VIII i.e. in primary education

                  so our basis of admission has collapsed till then and we are now forced to accept

                  a lottery system in our feeding i.e. in admissions of 5 std. Now the scenario is
                  that we have to admit the student whose name is opened in the lottery instead of

                  his or her academic level or talent level. We are now not permissible to choose the
