strength of our school from 5 to 12 near about 500 to 600 students participate
in 24 different events of sports including traditional games along with Marshal

Art, Yoga, Lawn Tennis, Cricket, Basketball, Archery, swimming, Dodge ball,

Throw ball, Chess, Carrom, etc. on district, divisional, state and even on national

level. In the academic year, 2018-19 one of our students is selected for special

coaching in gymnastics at state sports authority center, Balewadi Pune. Our student

Ku. Bhakti Kalmegh has won the gold medal in a national school swimming

competition held at New Delhi last year. And it is a matter of proud for us that

Miss. Bhakti and her younger sister who is also our student both are selected

for national school swimming competition this year too. All our four

basketball teams are selected for the state level this year. Our 10 pass out student
Malhar Joshi was selected in the Vidharbhacricket Association i.e. VCA’s under

14 cricket team. Sports is the soul of our school from its establishment but I

found that a simple motivation and praise from the head of the institution makes

our sports teacher, coaches and students to hoist the flag of conquer and fly to

high and high in the sky.

Cultural and other merits -
In the cultural fair of gathering, the trend of students is mostly towards

record dancing. Those students who could afford the choreographer ,they appoint

choreographer while most of the students kept themselves away from cultural

activities due to economic conditions. Observing this decided to bring these

students on stage taking class teachers into faith. I asked them to become their

choreographer and director and create the cultural activity or play of their classes
on their own. I used to give them different themes for each gathering. This minor

activity of mine has a grand success because nowadays most of the students are
participating in cultural activities.
