MULUGU DISTRICT
               ZPHS-Jangalpally - District Mulugu - HM. Baddham Sudharshan Reddy

                              There  has  been  an  increase  in  School  strength  from  60  students  to  101
                       students. Regular attendance also increased from 56% to 86.88%, by conducting
                       meeting with parents, SMCs and peoples representatives. Initiatives were taken in
                       starting English medium sections, which has improved the strength of the school.
                       Effort were made to improve the school ambience through the community support.

                                             KHAMMAM DISTRICT

               ZPHS vepaKuntla, Khammam- Head Master- G.S.V.S. Narayana.

                              Effort  has  been  made  to  bring  transformation  in  school  supervision,
                       conduct  of  SMC  meetings,  for  achieving  cent  percent  enrolment,  95%  school
                       attendance and improvement of the learning levels of the students. Achievements:
                       Able to lessen the number of students from 56 to 13, who are not good in basic
                       rudimentary skills i.e., Reading, writing and Arithmetic. To improve the learning
                       in Telugu subject, language learning books were procured from Warangal with a
                       title: “Saralanga Telugu Nerchukundam”.

                       To  keep  in  touch  with  academics  and  to  develop  rapport  among  the  student
                       community,  the  HM  himself  takes  one  subject  in  every  class.    Able  to  do  time
                       management effectively by adopting the grid of time management important tasks
                       Vs. Urgent tasks. Planning a day before is being implemented in chalking out the
                       school  activities,  and  its  reviews  after  school  hours.  School  Works  are  being
                       delegated to the teaching staff through the meetings held once a month. Finance
                       secretary  is  chosen  from  teaching  staff,  where  transparency  is  maintained  in
                       financial dealings. The challenge for the HM is lack of pro-active teachers in the
                       school.

                              Optimal utilization of science lab and digital library. Art and craft training
                       for  students  and  electoral  literacy  club  and  Girl  Child  Empowerment  club  have
                       been  initiated.  BalaSabhas  are  organized  where  children  creativity  is  being
                       celebrated.  Academic  sub-groups  are  constituted  by  students  and  teachers  to
                       conduct  academic  activities  like  quiz,  storytelling  and  story  writing,  related  to
                       concerned  subject.  Introduced  stitching,  weaving  and  other  crafts  during  craft
                       period.  Encouraged  the  students  to  participate  in  cultural,  literary,  painting
                       competitions,  poster  making,  talent  tests  organized  by  State  and  National  level

                       organizations. Organized voters’ day at the school level. The school has prepared a
                       documentary on ‘ban on Plastic carry bags’ and use of paper bags. Eco-clubs in
                       the school are made functional.

                              Tapped the community resources in  providing facilities such as installation
                       of    mineral  water  plant,    construction  of  bicycle  shed,    provision  of  digital
                       classroom, computer lab and games material.  The next task is to take up is the
                       construction of kitchen shed.
