Before the SLDP training, the School Head used to show lot of authority
over his staff; he felt that the staff is not sincere as he; he has no thought of any
vision for his school, neither he put any effort to share his vision. Post the
training, as a School Leader he is in the process of transforming himself from a
mere Administrator/ Manager to Leader. Now he has started trusting the team
members; giving up pre-conceived notions about the staff members, which he
had earlier. Now he is in the process of evolving the shared vision of the
school development.
Initiation in every aspect of the school development and trying to build
rapport with the students and teachers by doing regular teaching of one subject
regularly in each class is taken. Effort is being made to transform the teaching
learning process from Teacher-centered to Child-centered pedagogy. As a
leader, School Head is providing continuous encouragement to the staff to
perform the assigned tasks, don the role of coaching and mentoring.
Spaces are provided to exchange the views, ideas and to share the
knowledge between team members and team leader on regular basis.
Promoting the peer learning strategies such as self-learning groups with the
students in learning basic skills. Students are exposed to digital classes. Using
Technology in Administration by digitalisation of students’ marks, personal
details, admission registers etc.
Earlier instructions were given orally to the individual teaching staff and
staff meetings were conducted 4 to 6 times in a year. At present, the staff
meetings are conducted frequently, and tasks are assigned to teams to conduct
the activities in the school rather than assigning individually. Earlier the school
was isolated from the community. Now, the School Head has started
interacting with youth and community leaders and taking help in providing
drinking water, sorting of sanitation issues.

Organized Nyaya Vignayanasabha, mock parliament, Haritha Haraaram,
Health hygienic and math Teaching learning material. Energy clubs and girls
Empowerment committee (GCEC) are in operation. Implementing active
learning pedagogy in the classrooms.
ZPHS-Ankireddygudem – yadadriBhongiri district: Head Master- Sri. Jamadagni
Implemented the programme of 3-Rs effectively, where good number of
students attained basic skills. To ascertain the improvement, class wise subject
wise base line test paper was designed to know the learning deficiencies of the
students, accordingly individualized support is provided to address the
deficiencies. Effort is being made to build rapport with teachers
