SCHOOL MANAGEMENT


                         Every school shall have a logo along with vision and mission statement.
                         Every  School  shall  have  a  policy  on  child  safety  and  security,  policy  on
                          inclusive Education.

                          School policy on Inclusiveness


               SMCs & COMMUNITY PARTICPATION

                         Conduct of Parents meeting and personal visits of school staff to the children
                          homes of irregular students, regular School –Home to home Contact.

                         Consultation  of  SMC  members  on  finalizing  meeting  dates  and  agenda  will
                          help in improving the attendance of SMC meetings. Wattsapp group may be
                          created  by  HMs.  Orientation  of  parents/SMCs  on  “Ownership  on  School
                          activities  and  Educational  activities”  –  conduct  of  campaigns  against  the
                          domestic  violence,  child  abuse,  provision  of  congenial  learning  and  home
                          environment.

                         Involvement of community, SMCs and parents on tackling the issues of school
                          sanitation, school hygiene, school annual day and other school celebrations.
                         Appraisal  of  pupil  performance  periodically  in  academic  and  non-academic

                          aspects in the SMC meetings and parents’ meetings could be done.
                         Participating  of  school  HM  and  teachers  in  the  Grama  Sabha  and  use  this
                          forum to discuss the educational issues and school developmental activities.

               SCHOOL ATTENDANCE

                         To  improve  the  attendance,  particularly  of  girls,  special  counseling  classes
                          could be arranged for them by female teachers; visit to homes of the students
                          who  are  not  regular  to  the  school;  SMS  alerts  to  the  parents  informing  the

                          absence of the students.  Appreciation, Awards and rewards to those children
                          who have good attendance and good academic track records.

               LEARNING IMPROVEMENT

                         Developing the reading habit – school libraries, class libraries, reading corners,
                          lending of library books to take to home. Enforcing the students to read at least
                          one book/storybook per week; allocating leisure period for library purpose.

                         Improvement of hand writing- one language a day- one-page writing for 8-10
                          Class  students  and  followed  by  daily  correction  and  sample  check  by  Head
                          Master.

                         Evolving procedures and processes to track child wise academic performance
                          and supportive academic interventions for improving their learning.  Teachers
                          can adapt low performing children and provide the necessary academic support
