pressure group to pursue their parents and also as a peer pressure for co-
students. This intervention proved to be effective in achieving 95% of school
attendance.
The SLDP helped the HM to see the things in positive perspective and
realized the importance of building the relations with stake holders. Self-
assessment technique has been used to enhance the participation of the
teachers in school activities. The HM started observing teaching learning
process and provided resources such as charts, library books, science materials.
Special programme was conducted for the students to learn basic skills reading
and writing in languages, still there is a need to work on improvement of
mathematics.
Constituted student cabinets and formed four houses across all the classes,
helped to take the responsibility of organizing school activities. The HM also
visits such homes and talk to the parents. Those who has cent percent
attendance, they are being felicitated with incentives. The students cabinets is
being utilized for management of MDM, hand wash and in maintaining the
greenery in the school campus. Developed School vision reflecting the spirit of
future citizens endowed with life skills to compete globally.
To maximize the attendance of the parents/SMC meeting, these meetings
were held at the time of distribution of uniforms, textbooks, during preparation
of Nominal rolls of class-X. With co-ordination of village community, the
students were given with shoes, tie and belts. To improve the school
enrolment, the sarpanch, and local youth took pledge to join at least two
students in this school.
In a month, each week is earmarked for each subject like language, math,
science and social studies. For instance, during science week there will be talks
and discussions on precautions to be taken on different seasons and on
nutrition food. During social studies week, reflections on contemporary issues,
and election issues; in language week, stories, poetry and in Math week
solving of puzzles and so on.

Increase in school attendance by reviewing the status of attendance daily.
Putting collective efforts by the school staff to make every child attain basic skills
i.e., Reading, writing and Arithmetic. Wish to prepare school logo; insisting on
diary writing by every student to develop writing habits and for improving the
self-expression. Planting a tree by a student on his/her birthday. Observing
important national and international days in the school.
Freedom is given to the students to elect student cabinets which are to take up
the monitoring role in organizing school activities such as maintaining cleanliness
