Choosing of little leaders from interested students. These little leaders
would then coach students regarding skills (by making little leaders skillful
under the guidance of P.E.T)
The students participated in competitions at zonal, district and at state level.
It was observed that boys are not taking active part in art and craft periods,
whereas girls are actively associated with stitching and tailoring. To involve
such boys in art and craft periods, paper craft was taught to the boys.
MEDAK DISTRICT
Telangana Model School – Regode –Medak District: Principal- Smt. Manjari.
The school is located in educationally backward mandal, where a majority
of the students are the first-generation learners. The Principal of this school has
certain challenges such as reduction of absenteeism; weak parental co-
operation; implementation of active learning pedagogy in the classroom;
beliefs; superstitions present among the student community, imparting values
in the changing world and to discover novel ways to address the said
challenges.
The school has focused on the development of leadership in the areas of
personal, relational, professional development and organizational
development. With regard to self-development, the school is working on
efforts to develop sense of ownership, democracy; recognizing the
