and actions of the teachers. This methodology helped the students to develop
their communication skills, increase their confidence and were able to

participate in all activities without fear and stress.
The School has also taken up community developmental programmes in
association with NGO “Mahitha”. Identified orphans/single parent and poor
economic background students and supported them financially to start small
business. This intervention helped to reduce the dropouts and improved regular
                          attendance of the school.

Changes were brought in the school organization, where the information is
shared and disseminated through staff/Dept meetings. In the meetings, freedom

is given to the teachers to express their views freely. The frequent interaction
with staff members helped the School Head to understand the mental models
of individual staff member. Teachers undergo rigorous training and develop
the plans to meet the needs of all students as per the standards laid down by the
Govt. The school has initiated the learning of basic competencies i.e., 3R’s
programme and was conducted successfully. Hand wash before the meal is
being implemented, utmost care is taken in maintaining the hygiene in toilets
                          meant for the students.

Infrastructural facilities such as lab tables, dual desks, teachers’ chairs &
tables and bulletin boards were provided with the assistance of HPCL. With

computer labs are made functional. Library is equipped with 3000 books and
reading hall is in functional state. The school successfully implemented digital
classes with three projectors. Teachers are encouraged to use technology in the
teaching learning process. The digital resources are very useful in engaging the
children during free periods. The Alumni of the school is also very involved
and provides good quality uniforms along with a tie &belt.

Students were encouraged to participate in various talent tests like NMMS,
Talent search, Chekumuki Inspire awards, science exhibitions, role play. The
school has received 6 NMMS awards. Certain routines were established, where
students could display their work every week. Students are also provided
opportunities to excel in their interested field.

The School organizes co-curricular activities regularly in association with

their interest. Archery was introduced as a sport in the school in association

performances in public, off campus on themes such as Haritha Haaram,
