knowledge among the teachers, the Head Teacher has given several reference
books to the staff. The frequency of Classroom observation and observation
time has been increased. After the class or in the staffroom, feedback is being
given to teachers. As a part of development of distributive leadership among
staff, work distribution was made according to teachers’ interests.
Systematic planning was done for conducting study hours for class 10,
where the topic is announced in the morning and special sessions were
conducted on the said topics from 5 pm to 7 pm. As part of the school
facilities, Laboratory and the library were made functional.
As a school team, they conducted an enrolment drive and the expenditure
incurred for the banners and pamphlets was borne by the staff. Mic
announcements were given at public places such as VDC centre, Saibaba
temple etc., on school activities and information related to SMC meetings.
The public announcements helped to disseminate the information of the school
activities, which has also helped to improve the image of the school in the eyes
of the public and improved the participation of SMC members in the meetings.
With the help of VDC members the height of compound wall was increased,
barbed wire fencing was built, and the compound wall was whitewashed, apart
from meeting the salary of the watchman, Rs. 3,000 /- per month.

Students are encouraged to maintain diaries to develop their writing skills.
Work distribution is done among the staff members and transparency is
maintained in budgetary activities. Meetings are arranged between parents and
teachers; teaching notes is being written by the teachers. Issues yet to be
addressed are restricting child marriages, and cell phone usage.

Focus is given on imparting foundation skills and adoption of students by
the teachers, which helps in monitoring the progress of the child. Two days in
a week are allotted for conducting cultural programs. School timings are
observed strictly by the teachers and the students.

The school initiated the concept of children diary; intended to develop the sense of
time management and to develop writing skills. Regular book reviews by the
students are being conducted to improve language skills such as reading,
writing and analytical skills. Adoption of students by the staff is being
practiced, especially for class X.
Regular monitoring of academic activities as well as Classroom
observation is being done. A supportive environment was created for the staff
to work with utmost trust. Committees were constituted and work was
